Direct Service Provider (Contract Position)

With the support of the agency, Direct Service Providers support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and help them live their best life! Different individuals need different levels of care – some may require more hand-on assistance with caregiving while others may only require assistance to perform day-to-day activities. The primary duties of the position are:

• Ensuring the participant takes prescribed medication on time
• Assisting with day-to-day activities (may include cooking, bathing, cleaning, etc)
• Ensuring paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Assisting participants with completing their goals
• Ensuring participants health, safety and welfare is met
• Having fun with the participants!

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Current drivers license and auto insurance
• Excellent communications skill
